Donald Max Meredith

Donald Max Meredith, age 94, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born in Tazewell, VA to the late Robert Jefferson Meredith and Daisy Meredith. Donald served in the Airforce and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed playing the guitar and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Meredith; daughter, Mary Meredith; four brothers and two sisters. Those left to cherish his memory are his three children, Dianna Meredith, of Sterling, VA, Donna Lee Meredith and Bufford Meredith and wife, Pamela Meredith, of Elizabethton; grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Knapp (Emmett), Jacob Austin Meredith (Emily), Sarah Elizabeth Meredith and Anna Elizabeth Jonsrud; six great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
