Mr. Conley Wayne Guy, age 72, of Hampton, TN passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, TN he was the son of the late Raymond and Lela Pierce Guy. Mr. Guy was a retired roofer, truck driver and school bus driver. He was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church. He loved woodworking and making picture frames and he loved the outdoors.Survivors include his wife, Ella Guy, of the home; two daughters, Sally Honeycutt, Hickory, NC and Lela Guy Sherrill, of the home; two sons, Dwayne Guy and Jody Guy, both of Hampton, TN; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a step-daughter, Etta Markland, Roan Mountain, TN; two step-sons, William Burrow and Henry Burrow; Roan Mountain, TN; ten step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Cecil Guy and wife Sally, Johnson City, TN and four half-brothers, Norman, Steve, R.C. and Tim Guy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.A service to honor the life of Mr. Conley Wayne Guy will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Dean Presnell officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mr. Johnny Palmer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. on Saturday prior to the funeral service or at the residence at any time.
