Charles "Bo" Cole

Mr. Charles “Bo” Cole, age 79, of Mountain City, TN passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in the Johnson County Community Hospital. A native of Carter County, TN he was the son of the late James Franklin and Frances Bowling Cole. Mr. Cole had worked for Estep Coal Company. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Mae Wilson Cole; a son, Franklin Charles Cole and a brother, Jerry Wayne Cole. Survivors include four daughters, Katherine Crotts, Laura Cook, Lisa Parlier, all of North Carolina and Alice Odom, of TN; eight grandchildren, William Parlier, Misty Parlier, Ricky Cook, Kristy Price, Crystal Beal, Ashley Canipe, Tara Odom and Rusty Odom; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ada Cole, Shelby Jean Palmer, Phyllis McNeal and Carolyn Hughes, all of Elizabethton and two brothers, Billy H. Cole, Elizabethton and Wayne Cole, Hampton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service for Mr. Charles “Bo” Cole will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 14, 2013 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Pastor Jerry Stines officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Friday prior to the funeral service. Committal and interment will follow the funeral service in Cole Cemetery, Lacy Hollow Road, Elizabethton, TN. Active pallbearers will be Ricky Cook, Jeffery Mitchell, Greg Miller, Bobby Gordon, Christopher Oliver and Joel Price. Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil McNeal and Jackie Wilson.Read Obituary
