Charlene “Sissy” Hicks Matherly, age 59, of Elizabethton, TN was escorted by Gods Angels to be with him on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Sissy joins her parents, William Hicks and Elizabeth Chandler Hicks and her brother, James Hicks on Gods streets of gold. She left behind her two brothers, Leland “Bud” Hicks and wife Robin and Charles “Bubbles” Hicks and wife Anne; a sister, Teena Berry and several nieces and nephews also survive. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Carter County Humane Society, PO Box 134 Elizabethton, TN 37644.
