Beryl "June" Perry, Jr.

Mr. Beryl “June” Perry, Jr. 59, of 214 Lick Skillet Rd., Elizabethton died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his residence. A native of Carter County, TN he was the son of Hazel Williams Perry of Elizabethon and the late Beryl Perry, Sr. and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith.       In addition to his mother, Mr. Perry is survived by three brothers Sherrell Perry and his wife Nyoka; Kenneth Perry and his wife Charlotte; Robert Perry and his wife Kathy all of Elizabethton; one sister Charlotte Oxendine and her husband Richard of Johnson City, TN and six nieces and nephews.     Graveside service for Mr. Beryl “June” Perry, Jr. will be conducted at 2:30 PM Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Pearl Bowers Cemetery with Rev. Bill Watson and Rev. Bill Greer officiating. Active pallbearers will be Eddie Nidiffer, Larry Nidiffer, Vick Harrison, David Perry, Brent Perry, Preston Head, T.J. Oxendine and Warren Perry.   The family will receive friends at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Thursday prior to the graveside service or at the residence at other timesRead Obituary
