Barbara Ann Barr Hale

Barbara Ann Barr Hale, 59, of Gray, TN passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011 at her residence. A native of Washington County, she was a daughter of the late John William and Adlean Humphrey Barr. Mrs. Hale was a baker at Wal-Mart in Johnson City. She was a member of Piney Flats Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of forty-one years, Roger Hale, of the home; two sons, Daniel Hale and Jonathan Hale, both of the home; one brother Rev. Larry D. Barr and wife Pamela, Piney Flats; two nephews, one niece and two great-nephews also survive. The funeral service for Mrs. Hale will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Larry Barr and Rev. Steve Waycaster officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service in the chapel and at the residence: 141 Lee Drive, Gray, at other times. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Daniel Hale, Jonathan Hale, Rev. Larry Barr, Vernon Perry, and Harold Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Jones, Kenneth Cable and Walter Bowman. Everyone will meet at Hathaway Percy Funeral and Cremation Services at 12 Noon on Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
