Alberta Yerton

Mrs. Alberta Yerton, age 66, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Syracuse, NY she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nick Daniels. Mrs. Yerton was a certified nursing assistant at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a member of Heartland Fellowship Church, Elizabethton. Survivors include her husband, Charles Yerton, of the home; two sons, Charles Yerton, Johnson City and Michael Reed, Casper, WY; three daughters, Michelle Reed, Johnson City; Colleen Stout, Elizabethton and Roberta Reed, Johnson City; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Lillian Prevo, Syracuse, NY and two foster sons, Ricky Butera and Jimmy Butera, both of Syracuse, NY. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will hold a memorial service for Mrs. Alberta Yerton at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Heartland Fellowship Church, Elizabethton with Rev. Marvin Slagle officiating. The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Sycamore Shoals Hospital for their care of Mrs. Yerton.
