Our mother, Virginia Heaton, age 67 of Hampton, TN passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at her residence comforted by the Lord and our father, Jimmy Heaton Sr. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Guinn and Mary Ghral Ingram. Mrs. Heaton was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith. All that she knew, loved and cared for will always be left with the kindness and love she shared every day. We miss you Mom, but know you and Dad will be in our hearts forever and always. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Heaton Sr. on May 22, 2013. She leaves behind six children, Jimmy Heaton Jr., of the home; Sandra Kingrea and husband Brett; Melissa Ray and husband Paul, all of Elizabethton; Kalvin Heaton and wife Jessica; Angela Sargent and husband Anthony, all of Johnson City and Andrea Heaton, Medford, MN. She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, brothers and sisters to mourn her. The family will receive friends at the residence on Sunday, March 1 from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. Funeral and graveside service will be private. Active and honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Sargent, Brian Sargent, Paul Ray, Chris Dotson, Brandon Lee Dotson, Kalvin Heaton, Andrew Ray, Ethan Heaton and Kalway Heaton. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to American Stroke Association/American Heart, Living Legacy Partnership, 1101 North Chase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067.
