Shelby Dene "Dinkey" Malone

Shelby Dene “Dinkey” Malone, age 61, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Spokane, Washington she was the daughter of the late Herbert Hoover Harrah Sr. and Melba Hayes Harrah. She was of the Baptist faith. Shelby leaves behind Sam Malone Sr., of the home; a son, Sam Malone Jr., a daughter, Amber Malone, both of Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Hunter Malone, Tanner Malone, Tristian Malone, Aubrey Malone and Paden Malone; a sister, Linda Harrah Blevins, Statesville, NC; a brother, Herbert Hoover Harrah Jr., Elizabethton; a niece, Brandi Walley, Winston-Salem, NC; an uncle, Milton Hayes, Elizabethton and her step-mother, Peggy Harrah, Johnson City. Special friends, Candace Rose and Fran Kerley also survive. A graveside service to honor the life of Shelby Dene “Dinkey” Malone will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 31, 2014 in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. John Perkins officiating. Active pallbearers will be Sam Malone Sr., Sam Malone Jr., Herbert Hoover Harrah Jr. and Terry Blevins.Read Obituary
