Mr. Mike Roberts, age 65, of Watauga, TN passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN. A native of Leesburg, VA he was the son of the late William and Peggy Louise Wells Roberts. Mr. Roberts retired from D. & S. Dental as a machinist. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mike enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting.Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of forty-eight years, Margaret “Jan” Roberts, of the home; a son, Shane Roberts and wife Mary Kathryn; two grandchildren, Alicia Roberts and Brody Roberts and a brother, Steve Roberts and wife Diane. A Memorial Service to honor the life of Mr. Mike Roberts will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Elizabethton Church of Christ with Mr. Eddy Craft, minister officiating. The family will greet friends at the Church from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Friday prior to the service.Those who prefer memorial in lieu of flowers may make donations to the American Heart Association, Living Legacy Partnership, 1101 North Chase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067. Jan & Family, I was so sad to learn of Mike's death. I hope you remember me from high school, but I have known Mike and the Roberts family since I was a little girl. We were neighbors and attended elementary and high school together. May God comfort you and give you peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Roberts family.
