Mr. James H.“Jim” Liverett, 56, of Johnson City, formerly of Flint, MI, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was a son of the late Albert and Mary Giles Liverett and was born in Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Leto James Liverett and a brother, Roy Liverett.Mr. Liverett was a proud Marine; a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who received a Purple Heart for his service to his country. He was retired from Magna Corp where he built engines for electric cars. He loved to hike and spend time with his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of twenty-one years, Helena Liverett, of the home; three daughters, Chani Liverett, Anaheim, CA; Ursula Liverett, Memphis, TN; Elizabeth Lovell and her husband, Dustin, Leoma, TN; a son, William Greenlick, Flint, MI; a granddaughter, Teresa Marie; three grandsons, Zephyr, Liam James and Leto Marley; and his mother-in-law, Susan Bruckler, West Branch, MI; The family wishes to express a heartfelt and appreciative thank you to his nephew, Quentin J. Jacobs, Houston, TX, and his close personal friends, David Harmon and Levi Cripps for the love and care they have shown to Jim and to the family.
