Mr. Eric Coeburn Cole, age 77, of Chattanooga, TN formerly of Elizabethton passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 in the Parkridge Medical Center, Chattanooga. A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late Luther and Wyonna Vaughn Cole. He was a graduate of Milligan College and retired from Tennessee Valley Authority as a computer analyst. He loved farming, fishing and attending Nascar races.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Cole. Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Melissa Bomar and her husband Brett, Chattanooga, TN; a son, Eric Cole and his wife Lori, Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Evan Cole and Emma Cole, both of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Hannah Beard, Chattanooga, TN and Pam Bennett, Gray, TN and nieces, Jennifer Pritchett, Brandi Millsaps, Laura Beard and Nicole Bennett.A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Eric Coeburn Cole will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Everyone attending the graveside service is asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 P.M. on Wednesday.Those who prefer memorial in lieu of flowers may make donations to The Junior Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
