Doreen Esther Petroskey

Doreen Esther Petroskey, age 71, 345 Garrison Hollow Road, Elizabethton, TN passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at her residence. A native of New Haven, CT she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Miller Petroskey. Ms. Petroskey retired as a dietary aide. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include two sisters, Denise Kendall, of the home and Diane Prunier, Woodbridge, CT and six brothers, Walter Petroskey, Hamden, CT, William Petroskey, Pittsfield, ME, Wayne Petroskey, CT, Ward Allen Petroskey, PA, Wade Petroskey and Warren Petroskey, both of CT. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A service to celebrate the life of Doreen Esther Petroskey will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 9, 2014 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Brother Steve Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday prior to the funeral service or at the residence at any time. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 9:50 A.M. on Thursday for the graveside service.Read Obituary
