Claude Trivette

Mr. Claude Trivette, age 70, of Elizabethton, TN passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late James Edward and Norma Simerly Trivette. He was a 1965 graduate of Elizabethton High School and attended East Tennessee State University. Mr. Trivette worked in the twisting department of North American Rayon Corporation. He was a member of Valley Forge Christian Church and he was an avid reader.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Clark. Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Louis Trivette, Kingsport, TN and first cousins, Pansy Harrison, Elizabethton; Ronnie Trivett and wife Patsy, Elizabethton; Kathy Oliver and husband Butch, Elizabethton; Brenda Hunter, Denver, NC; Barbara Windfelder, Greensboro, NC; Eddie Simerly, Greensboro, NC; Dennis Simerly, Greensboro, NC; Linda Lewis and husband Pat, Elizabethton; Ricky Trivett, Elizabethton and Wanda McKinney, Michigan.A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Claude Trivette will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 30, 2017 in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Charlie Trivette officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Sunday prior to the memorial service.
